Charles Fisk, the country's undisputed king of online blackjack, has made a living out of card games. It was a natural progression to internet casinos in the 70s, he says, and online blackjack in particular turned out to be his lucky game. But for years Fisk watched friends and colleagues make bad decisions and unlucky bets. As a result 'Secrets of Online Blackjack' was born.

Fisk's aim in writing 'Secrets of Online Blackjack' was to enable people to enjoy the game but to also follow a few of the golden rules responsible for his own success. Strategy in online blackjack of course is crucial, Fisk says, but knowing when to retire and keeping a handle on greed are also useful tips to bear in mind. 'Online blackjack is a thinking man's game,' he says. 'Having a strategy and really knowing your own game helps you to obviously enjoy it more, and inevitably leads you to better winnings.' With the success of 'Secrets of Online Blackjack' Fisk himself is working at improving his game in other pursuits. 'If someone wants to write a book on baccarat, it could be a good idea,' he confesses. And does 'Secrets of Online Blackjack' give away all his online blackjack tips or just a few? Fisk smiles and shakes his head. 'A good online blackjack player never shows all his cards.'
