What is Keno?Keno is a lottery-type game in which you pick numbers, as you would on a lottery card, and then the casino draws the winning numbers. If your numbers match the casino's winning numbers, you can win money at keno.
Keno differs from the lottery, however, in that it offers much more flexibility. This is also what makes keno more interesting. In most lotteries, you must pick 6 numbers; in keno, you may choose to pick anywhere from 1 to 15 numbers. Also, the keno card gives you 80 numbers to pick from, far more than most lotteries. How to Play Online KenoKeno is very simple to play. The first thing you need to do is choose the size of the bet you want to play make. You do this by clicking on either the Increase (+) or Decrease (-) button at the bottom of your screen. The winning keno numbers will change color on the board, and those that match your picks will change to a different color. The biggest win at keno comes if you select fifteen spots and they all hit. This will win you the keno jackpot of 10,000 times the amount of your bet. The illustration above depicts a typical online keno game. In this illustration, the player picked fifteen spots. The numbers selected by the player turn light blue on the keno ticket and, on the right side of the screen, the keno machine tells you "Spots Selected: 15." As the keno balls come flying out and land on the keno ticket, the winning keno numbers turn green, and your successful hits turn red. In the illustration, you can see that the player had hits on the red numbers 9, 10, 11, 28, 47, 59, and 76. On the left side of the screen appears the payout table. There is a different payout table for each number of spots selected. The illustration shows the payout table for a 15-spot keno game. After the winning numbers are drawn, the actual result is highlighted in red on the payout table. In the illustration, you can see from the red highlight that our keno player had 7 hits for a payout of 5 times his bet.
